ফিরদৌস আজীম ব্র্যাক বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের ইংরেজি বিভাগের অধ্যাপক, একজন সাহিত্য সমালোচক এবং একজন নারী অধিকার কর্মী।^[১]^[২]^[৩] তিনি ব্র্যাক বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের ইংরেজি ও মানবিক বিভাগের চেয়ারপারসন।^[৪] তিনি নারীপক্ষের সদস্য। ^[৫]

প্রারম্ভিক জীবন

ফিরদৌস আজীম ১৯৭৬ সালে ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় থেকে ইংরেজিতে স্নাতকোত্তর সম্পন্ন করেন।^[৬] তিনি ১৯৭৮ সালে ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে প্রভাষক হিসেবে যোগদান করেন।^[৬] ১৯৮৯ সালে সাসেক্স বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় থেকে পিএইচডি সম্পন্ন করেন।^[৭] তিনি স্থপতি বশিরুল হকের সঙ্গে বিবাহে আবদ্ধ হয়েছিলেন।^[৮]
